Level 166 rewards two-zone splitting. Rule: split the board into left zone (columns 1-4) and right zone (columns 5-8). Build each zone independently. Clear rows 1-2 in left zone first, then right zone. Two-zone splitting gives 2x the flexibility for block shapes. Level 166 fails when zones merge — keep them separate at all times.
